Purely Juice

So several people at my work are dieting.
Some people are detoxing.
Makes me feel like a fatty
as I eat my chocolate covered peanuts and chinese food.

The other day,
I watched a documentary called
Fat Sick and Nearly Dead

and now I'm stuck on the idea of doing a juice detox.
I've been trying to find the right "diet"
for a while now.
However,
I don't want to diet to lose weight
(although it'd be nice to lose a little)
I just feel so unhealthy with all the fast food that I eat.
But produce goes bad so fast,
and I never know how to prepare it.

This is a temporary solution,
it would give me all the fruits and veggies that are recommended in a day.
Of course,
I can't do it forever,
but I figure if I can do it every few months
for at least seven days at a time
and eat as healthily as I can in between
I will be healthier than I am now.

Basically, if you don't already know,
a juice detox is where you blend up different mixtures
of fruits and veggies and drink them.
And that's all you eat for a set amount of time...
I want to do it for ten days,
but then from there I'd like to see if I could pull of thirty,
and if I'm really strong-willed,
I'd like to see if I can do the full 60 days like he does on the show.
Doubt I'll go that far.
Especially since Thanksgiving is less than sixty days away.
But I could at the very least start my day with a glass of fruits/veggies :)

My biggest dilema is that I don't have a juicer.
Anyone know where I can get one for a semi-decent price???

Let's Try This Again...

So just like all of the blogs I follow,
I have fallen [very] behind.
A lot has happened since my last blog:

I got a job at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

I absolutly love my job!
I applied in October/November,
but didn't hear back them until March.
I had pretty much given up working here,
but it was so worth the wait!

My CoStars are the greatest.
Some of them took me to my first club
for Industry Night
(aka free drinks!)

We play a lot at work and out of work:

Rawr! Lion costume at work
Bossman Cameron's Birthday

Blue Martini

Cancer Walk

DayClub

Em, Kendall, Cameron and I went hiking at Mt. Charleston.

A few of use went to Dick's for Kendall's 25th birthday dinner

Then Kendall, Chris, and I went skydiving the next morning :D

STK with Nat and Jen
I'm very out of shape :(
So I've started going to the gym on a regular basis
with Kendall who goes every day;
I go every day too,
unless I work in the morning (when she goes.)
And even on those days,
I usually workout in some way
like P90x or the appt gym at Britt/Brandon's.
I'm so proud of myself :)
However, Kendall is in Washington right now.
And it is MUCH harder to workout
without your gym buddy :(

I went to see a few concerts with James:
Josh Groban <3
As you can tell, we had amazing seats! :)

We made PB&J cupcakes a couple weeks ago.
Where he gets these ideas, I'm not really sure.

  I got really bored
and decided to make lasagna from scratch.
Took over four hours,
but totally worth it!

And recently,
I got a promotion to VIP Concierge.
I absolutely, possitivley
love love love
my job.

I feel like a real grown-up :)
I'm going to Chicago to see Bubble Butt this weekend.
Flying there on Saturday with Gma
Meeting up with Mom too.
And I'll get to see little Sammy finally :)

I guess that's all for now.
I'll try to keep up better with my blog...

Pictures!

I just figured out how to upload photos from my phone.
Without doing it one at a time.
Yes, I'm a tad behind on my technology,
I know.

Anyway, enjoy the show!

This picture does not do justice, these kittens were two of the cutest!

My Halloween costume was awesome.
I was a Zebra!

Erica and I had some good times. I tried really hard to make that blonde work.

Judy and I always had fun at work.

My cats watch tv with me.

Zuzu is just a little crazy,
he chases things that don't exist.

But he's the best cuddle-bug.

This is the McDonald's between Vegas and Phoenix.

The first time we hung out,
Brittany dyed my hair.
I love living on the second floor,
my cats enjoy being able to go outside.
This is Wiz.
He's the kitten that I helped Judy get for Xmas.
He farts a lot, but how could you resist that face?
I am the proud owner of these beauties!
This is why I don't straighten my hair.
(It's uneven!)
Judy and I like to lay on the floor,
and listen to music.
This is why I stopped wrestling Zues.
I want these shoes!
4" heals, dunno if I could wear them longer than 5 min.
I think this car is cool.
I found this in my car.
It's from one of the double dates
that Alaina and I went on.
We never went back for the clubs. Ha.
This just looks like trouble.
Not the best picture,
but this is how I wake up.
(All three cats,
on me if they're full,
staring at me if they're hungry.)
This picture doesn't really show it well,
but I'm the only one that cleaned the sinks at Target.
The one on the left is brown.
The one on the right is clean.

21st Birthday Weekend!

Wednesday:

Brittany and Brandon came over early on Wednesday.
Britt bought decorations,
but she couldn't remember what my fav color is,
so she got red and yellow.
I just told her she got ASU colors :P

Then, as I was finishing getting ready,
Britt said that Judy needed her help downstairs.
They came back up about fifteen minutes later,
and I wanted to cry,
I felt so loved ♥

They had gotten me balloons,
and cake,
and alcohol (ha!)

Those balloons are still standing,
two weeks and three days later :)

They wrapped me in streamers,
and called me a hot dog.

Brandon was a dork throughout the night.
Kept the laughs going :)

We had a celabatory shot at midnight:

And then we danced to Crank Dat by Solja Boi

And this was voted cutest picture ever:

Thursday, I cooked dinner for my family.
It was a LOT of fun :)

Then on Friday,
Judy went with me to The Golden Nugget
(Mommy and Daddy paid for two nights!)
where I gambled for the very first time:

and used an oxygen bar:

and got all dressed up girly and fun:

I spent the rest of the weekend at The Golden Nugget
with my big bubble butt brudder:

It was a GREAT weekend ♥

Xbox Kinnect

I just have to say,
I LOVE my Xbox Kinnect.
Love, Love, Love!

A few days ago,
I played the Your Shape Fitness Evolved.
Oh. My. Goodness.
First, it scans your body.
Then it makes a personalized plan for your body and goals.
I haven't done much on it yet,
but I did the personal training.
The moves are pretty simple;
I thought I would have no problem doing them.
After twenty minutes,
I was done!

The next day,
I went over to Lisa's for Steve's birthday.
We played the Sports game
and I boxed Kimmy.
Holy cow.
What a workout!

Everyone had fun playing,
and I had to go buy the game for myself after.
I can't wait to play with my friends :)

Gma and Jess played a gravity game:

Then Jess and Lisa boxed each other:

And this is just a video from when I was home.
We were at Vito's for Grandma S.'s birthday.
Karla and Keri bickered throughout dinner.

Trip Home

I just realized that I still have not posted
anything about my trip home!
:O
[[Shame, shame!]]

Unfortunately,
I left my camera at my brother's house :(
So I don't have pictures to upload.

The first night there,
I got Jenny some diapers, formula, and sun-flower (looking) flowers
and decorated her room for when she got off work.
I got to spend some quality time
chatting with Mandy too
which we rarely get to do anymore.
That made me happy.

I did a lot while I was home.
Including:
car shopping, lunches, pedicures, shopping with Jenny and Reilley
catching up with Alaina and Aaron,
spending quality time with my brudder,
hanging out with Natalie,
surprise countdown party to my 21st birthday,
shopping with Mom,
hanging out at the Divin's
aaaaaand so much more.
It was a busy busy week and a half.
But I loved every moment of it ♥
(The only thing I didn't get to do,
was lunch with Mandy and Hailey.
Growing up sucks.
Schedules just never seem to match up.)

I kinda-sorta love living away from home.
It sucks being far away,
but it makes everything so much better
when I do get to go back.

I have the best friends ever!
