Growing Up
I made a slideshow over two years ago and just found it yesterday. I updated it so it has at least one picture all the way from age 2 to age 19... and now I'm posting it :)

One More Day
I turned in my final draft of essay two yesterday for english class. I'm a bit anxious to find out what I got on it. I thought I did well on the rough draft, but my fellow students didn't agree. I did more editing on this paper than I think I ever have on an essay before. So hopefully it was worth my time and effort.
I'm done with everything for my math class, with the exception of the final. After calculating it all out though, it's pointless for me to take my final. Don't get me wrong, I'm going to take it. However, it's worth forty points and I need 80+ to get an A in the class and I would need to get a negative 14 on the test to get a C, which of course isn't possible. I already have a 5/40 for letting my teacher know that I was going to show up. I really thought this was going to be my first A in math ever, but maybe next time.
I hung out with Alaina last night since she's leaving for Best Buddies International on Friday morning. We basically just surfed facebook and took silly pictures, ranted about boys and school... typical stuff nothing special. She's decided that her and I need to start going camping every weekend just the two of us. Honestly, I have no problem with that :)

Working
I worked the night shifts both Tuesday and Wednesday this week and both days were relatively slow. There were the stupid questions here and there and of course the typical paperwork and checking guests in, but other than that not much else was going on. So, I decided to take advantage of my time and work on my homework. I finished my rough draft for essay two of my english class and I am working on the last chapter for my math class. However, while working on my math homework yesterday, I figured out that if I hit the button "similar exersice" after my three attempts were up, I could have three more attempts at the same problem with new numbers- and get credit for it! So all this time, I could have been getting 100% on all of my homework and pretty much gaurenteed myself an A in the class. I was so angry that my teacher didn't let us know, that would have been good information at the begining of the class instead of the end! Darn...
Today I am working the morning shift and it is again still slow, even though we are at a pretty decent occupancy. There was a couple that came in a few minutes ago to look at a room and check the rates so I showed them around and gave them a five percent discount and just did the typical sales part of my possision. While I was putting their information into the computer they started talking in a different language, it didn't sound familiar at all but the man had a very strong accent to begin with. He said he was from Texas, but I think they were from Africa originally. After a minute of them talking, they started using clicks in their speach, it was interesting to listen to, and it makes me wonder where they are from and why they are here and everything else. They then turned to me and politley asked what my age was, when I told them I was nineteen they said that I look much younger, but I act so much older. They were impressed with my professionalism and pleased with how much I helped them find what they needed. It's always nice to get compliments like that, it just makes my day that much better.
In fact, there is another guest here who is on the long term program that I helped situate and get the lowest rate for him and made sure he got a room where he wanted and away from all of his employees that are here as well. He told both Victoria and Leslie how great of an employee I am and that I should be getting some sort of benefit for my work and how much money I made the company by getting him into the hotel (especially since he brings in people like crazy and they all stay at least one month.) Then, days later he was "horrified" to hear that I wasn't recieving anything for it, not even a thank you. I understand it is my job, and I told him that but he was still not satisfied. So instead, whenever I work the night shift if I am hungry and he is cooking, he makes me a dish too. So far he has made me two dinners: steak, mixed veggies with potatoes, and salad, and homemade tacos. He has also gotten me a pet fish that I named Beluga who sits on my counter at work. He keeps telling me that whatever I want he'll get it for me, and the fact that he makes $350,000 per year, I don't feel guilty about a meal or two. The thing he really wants to do is get me a gift certificate for a resturaunt of my choice, but when I told him Chili's or something like that he scoffed; he wants it to be a fancy resturaunt that I couldn't afford otherwise. Basically, from what he has said he felt I should be getting some of the profit the hotel is making on their stay, and that should be around three to five hundred dollors. So I should be going to a resturaunt that costs at least a hundred a person. I just can't ask for that much money from someone though, it doesn't feel right.
This upcoming weekend is going to be atrosious though, I work two twelve hour shifts. As Jeffery said, I could have said no. I can always say no, but I just feel bad when I do. It's hard to say no... But then I started looking at the schedule today and realized something. I decided to calculate the hours, and Victoria is only scheduled for twenty-five hours this week! What the heck?! Seriously, I work extra so that my boss can work barely over one day in a full week? That's just not right! Gr.
My final for math is a week from today. Just the thought of it makes my stomach turn... I do get to bring a 3x5 index card of notes though. I'm going to cram that baby FULL!
Well, back to work now :)

Just An Update
So the weekend went well and my little gathering of friends was a total blast; it really lifted my spirits and put me in a good mood for the entire weekend all the way up until yesterday. Not that I'm not in a good mood now, it's just that I was practically walking around with a smile plastered to my face. I was talking to Aaron about a little of everything and I realized that he is the type of person that although he gets along with literally everyone, he would be perfectly happy all alone. I don't think I could ever do that. In fact, I know I couldn't. I love my friends, and I love to socialize way to much to seperate myself from others.
And since last weekend was so much fun, Alaina and I have decided to keep this high-on-life feeling going by planning a camping trip for this upcoming weekend. Aaron, Jessica, Alaina, Blake, and I are all going for sure. Alaina's mom is letting us use their large tent that has seperate rooms as well as her suv. We're going to Christopher Creek, or at least I think that's what Alaina said. I am going over to her house to continue planning after work today. It's very exciting!
On top of that, since the following weekend is going to be the last that Alaina is available to do anything before all of her Best Buddy President stuff starts up, we are trying to convince her mom to let us go to Vegas to see Love. She likes the Beatles, and I loved it when I went (no pun intended.) Besides that, we have been trying to plan a road trip since before school was released and it's about time we take that trip.
Speaking of school, I am doing well in my math class, which actually surprised me a bit. It's discouraging to fail a class and have to take it over again, so I was really not pleased at all, but it's actually a lot better for me and I've only gotten one mark below a C which was on homework. Other than that I'm doing well. I got an eighty on my midterm, which to be quite honest I was not all too happy with. It is a B, so I am happy, but I thought I would have missed one, maybe two problems tops. Oh well, it's better than before which means I'm learning. I just would love to get an A in the class, it would be my first ever in math and I think I would cry from shock and happiness as well as pride.
On a different topic, I'm really starting to love my job. I work Tuesday evening and Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights. I always thought that I enjoyed having a day off and then working two days and then having a day off and then working three days... but that was until I started having three days in a row off. It's absolutely amazing! By the time Tuesday rolls around I'm ready to go back to work and I'm all refreshed too so that I actually work instead of half-assing it. The only bad point is the exact opposite: by the time it's Friday I don't care what happens or where, I just want it done so that I can leave.
Anyway, as I was saying I'm really starting to love working here. My fellow employees are great, the ones I actually work with at least. The other GSR's are eh but I only see them for maybe three hours a week if even that. Martha is one of my housekeepers and she acts like the mom of me and Alaina when she's here. She's really sweet with a sense of humor and is just as social as I am, so we get along really well. Mike is the maintainece man here, he is cool too. He's like a twentyone year old in a thirty something year old's body. We listen to the same music and have the same taste in pretty much everything. Cindy is another housekeeper, she's old and frail but has a major bite. She's polish too so I think most of her personality reminds me very much of Monika; they even have the same facial expressions sometimes. Victoria is my boss and she's great- most of the time at least. It's really weird with her because the more aggressive you are toward her, the more she seems to like you. Like Mike called her a witch with a capital b the other day and she immediately calmed down and was pleasant for the rest of the day. Personally, I would have fired him, but that's just Victoria. She's a real sweetie most of the time though; she just doesn't take kindly to anything she thinks is stupid.
So it's been a couple days since I wrote the above, it's been crazy busy for me. The planning of the camping trip was pretty rough and took several hours on Wednesday. I am supposed to go pick up Aaron and Jessica in Apache Junction tonight so that we can all leave from my place in the morning, but currently I am stuck at work. I was supposed to be off at two, but instead I'm waitng for Pam to arrive. Anyway, I also have been swamped with school work and stressing very much over my english class. I ordered the book over a week ago and it still has yet to arrive. My final draft is due on Monday, and I have yet to even start the essay. I sent an email to Mr. Martinez, so at least he knows. My math class is okay though, I only have one section left in chapter six, chapter seven, review, and my final to complete then I'm done with the course. I'm really hoping that this camping trip is fun and takes my mind off of school for a couple days.
On another note, I need to plan a trip to Vegas. I haven't seen Gma in a while, or the rest of the family for that matter. I was planning on seeing them when Alaina and I went to Vegas, but she isn't going to go. I know Jeff wants to go too, so hopefully we'll make it up there before fall semester starts up.
Other than that, nothing much is new. I'm just living my life and having a blast while doing so. Better than anything else, I'm happy.

Barbie
So I spent the night at Alaina's last night. We watched a movie that we promised ourselves we wouldn't, but of course we enjoyed it. Mom called me this morning around nine, but we were still in bed and I really wasn't awake enough to have a full-out conversation with her. All I remember is that she said she would be home tomorrow. After another hour or two of sleeping, Alaina and I went to Wal-mart to buy Diet Coke and some food for lunch. We really didn't do much today but we sat and talked. It was one of those long talks that make you feel relaxed afterwords... this particular talk was about ex-boyfriends.
But then five o'clock rolled around, and it was time for me to meet Brennan at his place so that we could attend Ashley's funeral. We arrived about a half hour early and not many people had showed up yet. We went into the auditorium and picked some seats semi-close to the front on the friends side. There was a picture of her though, and so we both had to step outside to contain ourselves. When we decided to go back in, it was ten minutes before the scheduled time of start (even though it didn't start on time) and there were several more bunches of people. I knew most of them, but none of the family. It was interesting, because people moved from where they were sitting to sit next to Brennan and I. Several of the people I hadn't seen in ages, but they were glad that I came. Everyone was pleased to know that everyone else there cared and that her life didn't go unnoticed.
Throughout the ceremony there were lots of tears shed even though everyone knew that Ashley would kick all of our butts if she ever saw us shed a single tear because of her. We all tried to laugh it off, but it was one of the most difficult things I've ever had to do. At one point the person speaking actually had to stop because he was reading a poem that caused a few of us to cry to the point of sobbing. The line was something about how we may think that God took her too soon but it was part of his plan and she had lived a full life. It actually made me quite angry. I'm nineteen years old and haven't even begun my life, Ashley was barely eighteen. How on earth could anyone consider that a full life? And all I could think about throughout was how could someone kill someone so young? She didn't just die, she was killed. She was shot four times in the face by an ex boyfriend... We couldn't even get a last glimpse at our friend.
And then they played the Angel's Among Us song witch me and a couple other people tried to sing a few versus to, but I couldn't help but think: "There are angels among us, and one of them was just taken away." Ashley was honestly a godsend to so many people. She always had a smile on her face and she always knew how to put one on yours as well.
After the ceremony was over, we all tried our best to put the tears behind us. Ashley was truly one of those girls that could turn anything negative into something positive, and we knew that is what she would have wanted.
I have never seen so many people under twenty at a funeral before, but I was very happy to see how loved she was- as was her family. Her uncle came over and gave all of us a hug and a smile to thank us for caring.
Some of us played football in memory of her, since she literally played everyday. Others just sat around at the park and laughed and joked around for an hour or so. More people went to swim at Chris' house, but I was ready to go home.
I haven't cried so hard or so much in a very long time, but it is behind me now. Ashley, I shed my tears for you at the funeral to show that I love and care for you. I will proudly say that you were like a little sister to me that grew into a wonderful young woman. So now I put away the sadness, and remember the good times and the good nature within you, because I know that you will always be in our hearts. We miss and love you so dearly, Barbie <3

RIP Ashley DeWitte
So I'm at work and recently got a text from Carrie. She asked me if I remembered a girl named Ashley DeWitte and I said yes. I was expecting to have Carrie tell me that she saw her at the grocery store or something silly like that since the two of them never got along. Instead I recieved a text that informed me that she had been shot and killed by her ex boyfriend last night. I couldn't believe it so I went online and looked it up and it's true. He shot her to death, and then shot and killed himself. She was a year behind me in school but we were friends during junior high; not close friends but friends none-the-least.
She was in TrailBlazers with me and we liked a lot of the same things and got along great. She didn't have many friends at that time and so we hung out during school and while at TrailBlazer's events as well. Then when I went to high school I didn't even have a number for her or anything and none of my friends liked her so I never really saw her. That is, until I started hanging around Brandon. Ashley was his first girlfriend, even though he never "counts her as a girlfriend." But we all started hanging out together again, it was a huge group of us actually. Ashley had started making friends of her own, Brandon was Mr. Popular at Poston, and Monika and I both had a decent group of friends from Mountain View. After Brandon and Ashley broke up, he and Monika started dating and then when she treated him poorly he broke up with her and since I had been the shoulder that he cried on, he ended up with me. So then Ashley and I really started hanging out again because she still liked him and couldn't figure out what she had done to lose him. She hung around me a lot, asking me what she could to do better with her next relationship and blah blah blah. We became pretty close actually.
Then when my junior year started all the friends that had been haning out were now going to the same school. I hadn't seen a lot of them after Brandon and I and Wes and I broke up but since Brandon and I were friends and Wes was no longer at school our friends all started hanging out again and once again Ashley and I became semiclose. However, she was very popular with the boys by this point which made a lot of girls jealous, including the majority of people in the group. So she got squeezed out but managed on her own. Occationally she would come up to me with a huge smile on her face and give me a big hug like we were the best of friends. I really liked her because of this. She was just one of those people that was always positive no matter what. Again though, most of my friends didn't like her, so she slowly stoped coming around. I completly lost contact with her.
Honestly, I should have stood up for her probably and not have let my friends treat her so poorly. But honestly, there was nothing I could have done about that. I just wish that bad things didn't happen to good people. She didn't deserve to be shot, she was only eighteen years old. After reading the news article, I'm glad to see that she had friends that were there for her. But what really makes me angry, is that Carrie was laughing that she died. That is so aweful! Just because you don't like someone doesn't mean you should feel that it's okay to laugh because they've been murdered. Jeez!
I'm sorry Ashley, rest in peace.
"I am just a girl looking for a good time with friends. likes all types of music and movies. im pretty easy to get along with. I'll admit that I'm way to laid back, and I'm always up for trying new things. I am very social and love meeting new people. I try to go out of my way to please people, because i would rather see a smile on your face than a frown." - Ashley

Camping Trip
So yesterday I got up and went to Alaina's to help with the garage sale. I ended up getting a few things, some glasses and a hat- stuff like that. Alaina and I then went to Chipolte to get food for everyone (to be honest it was hot and we didn't want to pack everything up) which we all enjoyed very much. It was Alaina's mom and her two friends; they're all a bunch of wackos, in a good way of course. It's entertaining to just sit back and listen to them talk. They're all Buddhist but extremely catty it's kind of contradicting.
Afterwards, Alaina decided at last minute that we would go camping with Jeffrey and his friends since he had invited us and it was only a half hour drive up there. Camping in the desert is definatley something that a person needs to be more prepared for than just hopping in the car and going. I was wearing a pair of black slacks, my worn-out shoes and a red tank top; Alaina wore flipflops, jeans and a t-shirt. Needless to say we had some issues with pricklies getting stuck in our pants and feet. But since we were in the middle of nowhere, I changed into board shorts that I had sitting in my trunk and my dress boots. My brother just looked at the boots and laughed since they were heals, but they kept my ankles safe so I really didn't care. Alaina's shoes were foam so she kept getting cactus stuck in them and eventually got a piece stuck in her foot. Jeff pulled it out, but she wasn't too happy about it. Amanda had the worst battle scars from cactus though, she drank an entire bottle of champaine then threw up and in the process stuck her head in a cactus, then got them all over her legs. Steven said that next time she would be wearing long pants, sweatshirt, beanie... basically snow gear.
I definatley prefer camping in the woods to the desert, but it was fun none the least.
Also, Wes is working on my computer now. Apparently it was more messed up than I thought. He's determined to make it good enough to run sims though, which I have absolutley no complaints about. I <3 Sims!

I Need Art Classes
I would love to take drawing classes again... I love art! I just wish I had the motivation to do it more often, and to practice enough to get as good as I used to be. I need classes to learn how to shade and color though, I still have yet to learn. Jeez, it seems like I've been saying that forever! It's been a few years at least...

Mom and Dad's scanner cut off the side of the face and lightened the picture quite a bit. I'm pretty proud of it. She's pretty, but doesn't look all that much like who I was trying to draw... I put it on my myspace to see if anyone could guess :)

Boring Work
Jeanie called me today, which was interesting. She's in Texas trainging to be a manager at Studio 6 and so she has nobody around to hang out with or talk to. It was a pretty random phone call I'll tell you that much! She had Mike kick me yesterday at work for her, and the first thing she said to me was, "I got you all the way from Texas! It's boring here I don't advice that you visit." That girl always makes me laugh.
I am working at the Homestead in Mesa right now, off of Dobson and the 60. I just turned and looked over at the war bored (basically a chart of the companies that schedule their employees to stay here) and Freescale is on it. It made me laugh to think that if Dad were from somewhere else and working where he does, he'd probably be stayind here. I don't know why that made me laugh, but it did. Simple things make my day :)
I wish that there was a way for me to watch my life, like a movie. But there isn't, so I figured that in each blog that I post I will try to put in a memory. That is what this blog is for after all! Hopefully, I will get on track and start posting all of my picture memories on here soon, before I forget what they are all about.
One of these days, I would like to post an extra long blog about RedCliff Accent. I mean, I spent three months there and already I'm starting to forget what it was like. I remember the first day, and I remember how lonely it was; I remember looking out on the green desert after we hiked to the Native American smoke mountain thing, and I definatley remember the snow. I remember a lot about it, but I just don't want to remember things wrong in the future... I don't really know why.
Anyway! I get off topic a lot...
Memory of the Day:
The message machiene was beeping at Mom and Dad's and I had just walked in the door. Mom listened to the message, then told me to call Arby's: she had already written down the number. I didn't want to call, I hate talking on the phone. I tried to get her to call for me, but she wouldn't allow it. I tried to tell her I would call later, but she made me sit down by the phone and call. Jake answered the phone and after I told him who I was, he asked if I could come in for an interview the next day. I was honestly surpised to get a callback so soon, but I accepted and walked around with a smile on my face for the rest of the day.
The interview went well, I had my hair up, wore my black schoolgirl heals, black pants and I don't remember what shirt. Mom didn't like those pants because the bottom's were torn, I think that's why I remember wearing them... Jake gave me the job on the spot and I started the following Monday I think.

Just Another Day At School
So I took a class called Gender in Society for a humanities credit this past semester, and the teacher was a total waco. I'm all for being open minded, but to honestly try to tell me that there is no such thing as gender is just crazy. I'm sorry, but there is physical evidence that proves that that statement is false. Well anyway, I decided to post this picture before I forgot all about it, or all about why we did it:
My eighty something year old teacher was always going on and on about the same topics over and over, things like transgendered people deserve their own clothing line and women are suppressed and men are evil... and yet there are no genders. Hmmmm... Anyway! I wore a dress to school one day and Brennan wore his typical t-shirt and jeans. Danny cracked a joke that it would be hilarious for him to wear my dress. It was a funny joke at first, but then Danny dared Brennan to do it. Well, me being the weirdo that I am, had to make Brennan trade clothes with me so that the dare could be accomplished. We went into the boys bathroom because we figured that if Brennan went into the girls someone may call harassment on him. It's surprising how many guys leave the restroom once there's a girl in there... Lol! So after entering our seperate stalls and passing clothes under to each other, we were both dressed in opposite sex clothing. When we went back to the classroom, we got a bunch of what the hecks and even more giggles- Danny literally fell out of his chair he was laughing so hard- and the teacher applauded us. Oh, and Brennan just happened to be wearing one of Lisa's wigs that day so it just made things all that much better; I also tied my hair in a bun. I think I pull off manly quite well thank you! :P
I love being a dork :)

Working
So I'm at work right now, on my break. I've been here since six thirty this morning and since about eight thirty I've been on my hands and knees scrubbing floors. I decided to take my break so that my knees don't break themselves :P BossLady Victoria is wearing one of her torn up t-shirts again today; it still baffles me how a manager really thinks they can dress the way that she does. But anyway, she asked me to work the night shift at the Homestead in Mesa tomorrow, which I of course accepted due to the fact that I had to go home after three hours yesterday. I really don't hate my job, I just dislike the night shift. I do wish that I worked with more people though.
Alaina is on this health kick that I've decided to join in on. No more fast food- this is going to be hard! Hopefully, Jeffrey will cook dinner for me more often now that he lives there :) He cooked "chicken" (it was really pork sirloin but I didn't know that) with mashed potatoes the other night. It was good, and Alaina thought it was funny how I scarfed it down. She made a comment about how I'm starved for real meals because how often I go out for Taco Bell's $.89 burritos and Burger King's dollar menu. I have to admit, I'm so sick of junk food! Now I just need to kick my soda drinking fettish...
On another note, I can't stop thinking about RCA recently. Sometimes it's good memories and I miss being there, but then I realize how horrible I felt while I was there and I just get sad. It's weird, because I'm so torn about the place. There are times when I want to go and be a staff member there, or even just do it all over again. And then there are times when I just want to forget the entire subject. Like I said, it's confusing.
Well, my break is almost up: time to get back to work!

Blogety Blog
So I wasn't going to post another blog entry until I organized all of my pictures and got everything situated, but it's taking a bit longer than I expected. Basically, I just have too many computers. I have a desktop that Mom has been working on for the past few weeks trying to get it to work again since it crashed on me several weeks ago, a dell laptop that refuses to connect to the internet, and a mac that I have no software for so it's kind of pointless not to mention it is the most difficult to maneuver. I have no idea how to spell "maneuver" by the way... Anyway, I think my desktop is working now, but I'm having difficulty reseting the wireless mouse and keyboard... So until then I'm going to have to wait on organizing the pictures.
Jeffrey is moving his stuff in and should be completley moved in by this week. It should be nice to have another person in the house again, it gets lonely watching tv by myself every night. His friend Stephen annoys me though, he's a girl.
I went to go get my nails done with Mom and Grandma S. today, which was a typical visit to the nail sallon. The guy that did my hands told me my nails are too thin and cut them all down to stubs. Mom and Grandma assured me that they look good still, but I guess I'm just frustrated. I grew my nails out for two weeks so that I could go get them done to look pretty for summer and he chopped them off! Booger.
Other than that I haven't really been doing much lately. I am done with my first year of college, which is nice. I got a C in computers and Gender in Society, an A in World Religion, and withdrew from math after my teacher told me that I should go back to the prior class. I also took micro economics this semester but it seems that my teacher in that class just disapeared. The class was online and grades were due last week but there's still no grade on my page. However, I start online math on June first so if the grade still doesn't show up I'll go to the counsler. I also have to go talk to someone about Gender in Society once Danny gets back from Lebanan. Everyone in the class got a C, even though he and I both got A's on every assignment. It just doesn't make sense. Maybe I just really bombed my final or something though. I hate tests!
I haven't really decided yet but I'm thinking about becoming a teacher. I'm not telling Mom until I know if that's what I want to do or not though, because she gets really excited with the idea. I just don't know what I would teach. I would love to teach art or creative writing, but both of those classes are slowly being faded out in Mesa. I guess I don't have to live in Mesa the rest of my life, and I don't plan to either, but I just would rather have a more stable job.
I still have three more years to decide, since I am determined to get my business degree before anything else. And, another choice after I get my business degree would be to move to Las Vegas and go to the college there so that I can manage/own a hotel. It just depends, because the hotel I'm at right now is simply getting on my nerves. I've been there nine months- longer than anyone else at that location, including managers- and all of the newbs are getting anything and everything that they want because they will demand things and I, well, won't. I ask for time off, they throw a fit if they don't get what they wish. That's a rant I could go on for hours though...
Other than that, nothing much is new. I have just been enjoying my break from school and working mornings instead of nights. I applied at Chick-Fil-A, but haven't heard back from them. I have also been talking to old friends, like B and Corbin. It's entertaining to say the least.

So I woke up this morning to a wet spot on my bed. Zeus is scared of the other kitties while I'm sleeping I think so he can't get to the litter box. Poor thing.
Luckly, I have a bunk bed so I threw the sheets in the wash and climbed into my top bunk to sleep for a while longer before getting up and getting ready to go to my parents. Last weekend was Mother's Day, so as a gift to my mom's mom, we told her we would all go get family pictures today. The Zahner boys wore dark blue and the girls wore light blue, Keri wore brown, Grandma and Grandpa wore purple, Dad and Jeff wore grey, and Mom and I wore pink. Although, my shirt looks red in the picture because of the shadows. We got the picture taken at Kiddie Kandids in the mall so let's just say it wasn't the easiest, nor the most comfortable possisioning. Not to mention the photography skills are... limited.

From one point of view though, I have to say that it was a good thing that we got the picture taken at a children's studio. Jeffery and I kept goofing off like the little kids that we are. Jeff even fell over and almost took the background off the wall trying to sit on the tiny children's stool; his face was as bright as a cherry, but all of us that were paying attention were too busy laughing to care.

New Friend
So yesterday I went to Petsmart to get cat food since my kitties are little piggies and eat, eat, eat! While I was there, I passed by the adoption section where there were several adult cats sleeping, but then to my surprise, they had one big window with about twelve kittens playing and sleeping and wrestling... they were all very cute but male, so the idea of adopting one didn't even cross my mind. But then, an orange tabby ran up to the window, pawed at me, and then started meowing. His name was Velveda. Needless to say, I fell in love with him instantly, and just had to get him. He is two months old, neutered, has all of his shots, and I get a free vet exam for whenever I need it. He is the most playful thing in the world, and compared to my other two babies (three if you include the one at my parent's) it's a pleasant change. However, Spaztik and Halloweeny don't really like him all that much. At first, they were okay with him, but then I guess he sniffed Spaz for a little too long and she started hissing. They haven't stopped since. He doesn't seem to mind though.

This is my baby Halloweeny, she's a weeny.

I know that Spaztik loves me, she just refuses to admit it.

And introducing: Zeus (Zuzu) Oscar Larsh.
